The Vietnamese police delegation were received by Head of the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Moscow Lieutenant General O.A. Baranov, Deputy Head of the Main Directorate Major General I.V. Zinoviev, and other officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
During the meeting with the Vietnamese police delegation, Lieutenant General O.A. Baranov introduced to the guests the organization of the Moscow city police agency and functional departments of the Main Directorate, as well as briefed them on the situation of Vietnamese nationals living and working in Moscow city.
The host also informed the guests of results of the city police‘s crime prevention and control in 2022, saying that the use of the city's surveillance camera system had contributed positively to preventing and controlling crime of all kinds as well as maintaining security and order in the city.
Emphasizing the good relationship between the two countries and between Hanoi and Moscow, Lieutenant General Nguyen Hai Trung hoped that the two capital cities’ police forces will further strengthen their cooperation and achieve more positive results of the bilateral coopertion.
During the meeting, the two sides agreed to expand capacity building cooperation and exchange delegations to boster bilateral relations and share experience in preventing and fighting crimes, especially newly emerged crime, high-tech crime and transnational crime.
