Hanoi garden dazzles as multiflora roses bloom

PSNews - In late June and early July, a local garden in the suburbs Thanh Tri of Hanoi is usually adorned with multiflora roses, making it a famous destination for Hanoians these days.

The multiflora roses cover a 200-metre road located in the botanical park of Tam Hiep commune in Thanh Tri district of Hanoi. It takes approximately 30 minutes to travel to the park from the centre of the capital.

Multiflora rose flowers are white or pinkish and have 5 petals. It is also called rosa multiflora. While very similar in appearance to other roses, both native and exotic, multiflora rose is unique in having fringed stipules at the base of the leaf.

The number of tourists visiting this garden tends to increase sharply when the flowers enter full bloom, with the park receiving hundreds of visitors each weekend.
