Hanoi police and Vietnam Fatherland Front review 10-year coordination

The Hanoi Municipal Police Department in collaboration with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi held a conference to review the 10-year implementation of Joint Program No. 09 between the Ministry of Public Security and the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations on promoting the movement “All people protect national security” in the new situation 2013 – 2023, on July 24.

Over the past 10 years, the Hanoi Municipal Police Department has coordinated with the Fatherland Front Committee and its member organizations at all levels to launch 1,616 models of the “All people protect national security” movement, in accordance with the conditions of the locality. 

After the serious inspections, competent authorities recognized 495 typical models, of which some operated effectively such as: the "Security self-management” model groups deployed in 181 commune-level areas, and the "Security camera" model systems installed in 109 commune-level areas. 

The movements have been promoting their effectiveness, creating an exciting emulation atmosphere in the movement of the entire People's Liberation Army.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, who is also Head of the Central Steering Committee for deployment of the “All people protect national security” movement praised the results and achievements of the involved forces and officers in implementing Joint Program No. 09 in the 2013 - 2023 period.


Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung suggested the relevant forces need to coordinate more closely to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement resolutions, directives and regulations of the Party and State, especially the directive of the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee,  on the building of the “All people protect national security” movement.
