Hanoi’s district police praised for outstanding achievements

Major General Le Quoc Hung, Deputy Minister of Public Security, on June 30 sent a letter praising the Police Station of Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi, for their effective methods of disseminating fire prevention measures in the locality.
The police of Thanh Xuan actively advised the district’s authorities to encourage and guide local residents in high-rise apartment buildings to remove iron fences in the balconies to make ways to escape in case of fire.

Earlier on April 15, the Ministry of Public Security launched a campaign to check fire safety and firefighting plans in residential areas, businesses and shop-houses. The campaign will last till October 15.

In his letter, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung praised all police units nationwide, particularly the Thanh Xuan District Police Station, for their efforts in disseminating fire safety measures and checking fire fighting plans at high-risk buildings.

According to the deputy minister, the police station of Thanh Xuan actively advised the district’s authorities to encourage and guide local residents in high-rise apartment buildings to remove iron fences in the balconies to make ways to escape in case of fire.

Their efforts were recognized and honored by the local authorities and residents, contributing to beautifying the image of the police force.
