Hi-tech crime prevention in computerized lottery

PSNews - The Police Department for High-Tech Crime Prevention (C50) and the Vietnam Lottery Company (Vietlott) held a signing ceremony of regulations on co-ordination on November 7th in Hanoi.

The deal between Vietlott and C50 includes 5 important articles as follows:

First, implementing preventive measures in order to deny criminal activities and other violations of the laws with the use of hi-tech aid affecting the business and operation of Vietlott.

Second, coordinating and exchanging information between the two parties in investigating and verifying violations of the laws with the use of hi-tech to interfere in computerized lottery business operation of Vietlott.

Third, checking and assessing security and safety of the information technology systems of Vietlott’s business operation. 

Fourth, exchanging information on the methods and tricks often used by hi-tech criminals as well as on relevant issues, including safety and security of Vietlott’s business operations and preventive measures and solutions.

Fifth, training and supporting technical measures in preventing and combating hi-tech crimes and ensuring security and safety of information.

The signing of the deal on coordination between Vietlott and C50 will contribute to ensuring the security and safety of the computerized lottery system across the country.
