The monument was designed from the idea of the poem "Tay Tien" by the poet Quang Dung (a soldier of the regiment), depicting the mighty view of the North West and the heroic image of Tay Tien Regiment soldiers.
The site has a total area of 5,000 square meters, organized into 3 theme sections with 7 main items. The main monument has the four bayonets assembled together like a mount, which embodies the Tay Tien soldiers after their heroic battles.
The commemorative section has a commemorative tower covered by transparent glasses, featuring the beauty of the Northwest mountains.
The stele is modeled after the "Arc de Triumph" or the welcoming gate, which symbols feats of arms and the desire for victory.
