Hmong language course opens for drugs officers

PSNews-The People’s Police Academy (PPA) opened the 1st Hmong Language Course for professors and students specializing in reconnaissance of drug-related crimes.

Practical activities of prevention and suppression of drug-related crimes in Vietnamese areas bordered with Laos and China show that it is important for law enforcement officers to have sufficient legal and operational knowledge.

Particularly, they should be trained languages and cultural practices of ethnic minorities, especially the Hmong ethnic minority. This will facilitate operations of law enforcement officers in mountainous border areas.
