The Hung Yen Provincial Police Department on August 21 organized a ceremony to announce a decision to deploy professional officers to communal police posts of 37 communes of 6 districts.

During the ceremony, the third of its kind , 61 commissioned police officers were appointed to the posts of head and deputy head of  communal police posts in 37 communes, townships of the 6 districts of Khoai Chau, Yen My, Van Lam, Kim Dong, Tien Lu and An Thi.

According to leaders of the Hung Yen Provincial Police, the unit has so far posted 223 professional police officers to 75 communes in the province to ensure local security and order at the grassroots level.

The unit will strive to fully organize the communal police force in Hung Yen province in 2019.

Facts have showed that the presence of commissioned police officers in townships and communes has created a significant positive change in the security and order situation in many localities of Hung Yen province. The positive results have been recognized by the local authorities and people.
