Inaugurating memorial house of late Minister Bui Thien Ngo

PSNews-A ceremony to inaugurate the Memorial House of late Senior Lieutenant General Bui Thien Ngo, former Minister of Public Security; Hero of People’s Armed and Martyr Forces Le Thanh Duy; and Hero of People’s Armed and Martyr Vo Thi Sau  was held in Vung Tau city, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province.

The event was attended by Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security and various leaders of general departments, academies and units under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) as well as family members of the martyrs.

At the ceremony, Lieutenant General Chau Van Man, former Deputy Director the General Department of Politics, briefed participants in the event on the biography and career of late former Minister of Public Security Bui Thien Ngo, a striking example of patriotism, who made important contributions to the success in the protection of national security and social order and safety.

At the ceremony, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh emphasized that the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Police made great contributions to the national struggle against French colonialists and US imperialists, protecting the Party and the revolutionary government, as well as lives and property of the people.

On behalf of the Party Central Committee of Public Security and the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh expressed his deep thanks to veteran police officers of the Ba Ria-Vung Tau police force who have made contributions to force building, especially their participation in educating the revolutionary tradition for young officers and soldiers.
