Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Member of the Central Party Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security, presided over the conference.

According to reports on the inspection and Party discipline work in Q1 of 2018 from the Party organizations at all levels under the Central Public Security Party Committee, the inspection committees at all levels actively advised the Party committees to develop and implement of the 2018 inspection program, with a focus on supervising and inspecting Party organizations’ implementation of the higher-level Party committees' directives on enhancing prevention and fight against crime and law violation; ensuring traffic order and safety; and promoting the movement of “All people protecting national security”.

Addressing the conference, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh recognized the efforts and praised the results that the Party organizations and the inspection committees at all levels under the Central Public Security Party Committee have achieved over the past time. 

He also affirmed that the results of the inspection and supervision have made positive changes in the units’ performances of their political tasks, Party building work as well as the building of clean and strong people's public security forces.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh requested the Inspection Committees at all levels to focus on a number of central issues. 

They should proactively supervise and check the units’ task performances while advising the Party committees to re-organize the inspection committees and its assisting agencies at all levels in the People's Police Forces in line with the new apparatus of the Ministry of Public Security while drastically dealing with issues and complex cases of petitions and complaints at the basic level.
