Present at the ceremony were Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly Phung Quoc Hien; Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee Secretary and People’s Council Chairman Hoang Dan Mac; Chairman of the Phu Tho Provincial People’s Committee Bui Minh Chau; and representatives of ministries, central agencies, other leaders of Phu Tho province.

The trumpet-shaped intersection, which has over three kilometers long, has five different lanes. Lane A1 is connected with National Highway 70B, while lanes A2, B, C and D link directly with the expressway. The toll station is located at the end of lane A1.

The newly-built intersection is the fifth and final one in Phu Tho province, which connects between the Noi Bai-Lao Cai Highway and the province. The project plays a vital role in facilitating trade and transportation, helping create a modern traffic network and contributing to boosting socio-economic development of the districts of Ha Hoa, Thanh Ba and Doan Hung.

"We, with high determination, have completed the project on the schedule while ensuring the quality of construction, labor safety and compliance with legal processes," said Bui Manh Hung, General Director of Trungnam E & C.

Trungnam E&C is a leading private construction company. Its credit has been confirmed by high-quality projects, such as Hue T-junction intersection, Bach Dang Bridge connecting Hai Phong city and Quang Ninh province, and ongoing projects of Ho Chi Minh City's flood control project and Hanoi’s Ring Road No.2.

Trungnam E&C won an open bid for the road construction and installation of the lighting system in November 2017.
