Khanh Hoa police review performance of tasks

The Provincial Police Department of Khanh Hoa held a conference on December 21 to review the local police force’s task performance in 2020 and roll out its new plans for 2021.

Major General Le Quoc Hung, Deputy Minister of Public Security, attended and delivered a keynote speech at the event.

The conference also saw the presence of Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan, Vice Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa.

According to reports at the event, the provincial police grasped thoroughly and implemented effectively all directions of the Public Security Central Party Committee, leaders and the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa and fulfilled all given tasks. 

Security and order in the province were maintained, criminal offences reduced by 2.7% compared with 2019. 93.4% of all criminal cases and 96% of the serious cases were investigated successfully. Meanwhile, the local police’s Party and force building work also gained large achievements.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung applauded the efforts of the provincial police in 2020.

Regarding their major tasks for 2021, he asked the provincial police to seriously implement the resolutions issued by the Public Security Central Party Committee, directives by the Minister of Public Security while effectively advising the provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee on policies and measures to ensure security and order.

They should take measures to ensure security for the National Party Congress, and the Elections of the National Assembly and the People’s Councils at various levels in the term 2021-2026.

On this occasion, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung presented Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Public Security to units and officers of the provincial police with outstanding achievements.
