Kien Giang police organize "Zero-VND happy market" for needy people

PSNews - This activity formed part of the Kien Giang Provincial Police Department's efforts in sharing difficulties with needy families in localities, creating linkages between the police force and local people.

Recently, the Kien Giang Provincial Police Department in collaboration with the Red Cross Association of Kien Giang and the Minh Luong 3 Primary School organized a "Zero-VND Happy Market" on Minh Luong town, Chau Thanh district, with the aim of supporting needy people

The "Zero-VND Happy Market" included five main stalls with essential food items worth VND 100 million. More than 450 needy households received 250 thousand-VND coupon to pick necessities such as rice, fish sauce, salt and sugar, etc..

This activity formed part of the Kien Giang Provincial Police Department's efforts in sharing difficulties with needy families in localities, creating linkages between the police force and local people.

On this occasion, doctors of hospitals in Kien Giang also offered free checkups and medicines to nearly 400 poor local people with a total budget of over VND 20 million.
