Kon Tum Police praised for great achievements in 2020

PSNews – The Kon Tum Provincial Police Department held a meeting on December 28 to review the task performance of the local police force in 2020 and roll out its new plans for 2021.

According to reports delivered by the Kon Tum Provincial Police Department’s leaders, the local police force overcame difficulties and fulfilled all assigned tasks in 2020,. The Kon Tum provincial police gave good advice to local Party committees and authorities on approaches to prevent and fight crimes in localities of the province, especially in the areas home to ethnic minority groups, avoiding being put in a disadvantage.

The unit also took synchronous and effective measures to combat all kinds of crimes, thoroughly grasped and controlled the situation and defeated all conspiracies of hostile forces.

In 2020, the Kon Tum police implemented various plans to ensure absolute safety for political events in the province, especially the Provincial Party Congress for the term of 2020-2025. The local police force also took a leading role in the fight against COVID-19.

The Kon Tum Provincial Police Department has completed the deployment of professional police officers to all communes and townships in the province to ensure security and order at the grassroots level.

For these great achievements, many officers and subunits of the Kon Tum Provincial Police Department have been awarded honors, certificates of merit and emulation flags by the Ministry of Public Security and local authorities.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung recognized and praised the efforts and results gained by the Kon Tum Provincial Police.

Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung requested them to enhance the fight against crimes of all kinds. The unit should thoroughly grasp and implement resolutions and directions of the Public Security Central Party Committee, the Ministry of Public Security on the tasks of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety.

The Deputy Minister of Public Security also asked the local police to ensure safety and order during the upcoming 13th National Party Congress and the general elections of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term.
