Minister of Public Security General To Lam received a delegation from the Korean Coast Guard led by Commander of the Central Regional Coast Guard Kim Byung Ro, on the afternoon of October 30, in Hanoi.

At the meeting, Minister To Lam stated that the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam highly appreciated the Korean Coast Guard's decision to provide patrol vehicles for the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam.

On the schedule, the Ministry of Public Security officially receives 02 speedboats and 02 jet skis Hai Phong seaport on October 31, 2023, from the Korean Coast Guard.

On behalf of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, Minister To Lam thanks the Korean Coast Guard and Mr. Kim Jong Uk for the aid package of vehicles to the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam.

The Ministry of Public Security considers the event an important milestone in the relationship of the two agencies, contributing to realizing the Action Program of the Vietnam-Republic of Korea comprehensive strategic partnership.

Thanking the host for the warm welcome, Mr. Kim Byung Ro said that the Korean Coast Guard is always willing to cooperate closely with the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, contributing to strengthening the traditional frendly relationship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries for practical results.
