Lang Son police honor good examples in "For Homeland Security" emulation movement

PSNews - The Lang Son Provincial Police Department on June 5 held a ceremony to honor good examples in the emulation movement "For Homeland Security" in the period of 2015 - 2020.

Over the past five years (2015-2020), the emulation movement “For Homeland Security” launched by the Lang Son Provincial Police Department has been continuously renovated and conducted in line with other emulation movements launched by the local Party committees and authorities.

As a result, political security, social order and safety in the locality have been well maintained while the rate of successfully investigated criminal cases reached 91.9%, of which all serious and extremely serious cases were solved.

With their excellent achievements, the Lang Son Provincial Police Department has been awarded the Emulation Flag from the Prime Minister twice and the Emulation Flag from the Ministry of Public Security three times.

 Meanwhile, 1,027 teams and 8,296 individuals of the provincial police were awarded by authorities at all levels for their outstanding achievements at work and in emulation movements.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To and Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Lang Son Provincial People's Committee praised the achievements of the Lang Son provincial police over the past years.

The Deputy Minister asked the Lang Son provincial police to educate its police officers and soldiers on the good traditions of the local police forces while promoting the emulation movements, praising good people and good deeds, as well as popularizing good practices and creative methods in performing their assigned tasks.

At the meeting, under the authority of the State President and the Prime Minister, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To presented the Third-class Feat of Arms Order and the Government's Emulation Flag to a team under the Lang Son Provincial Police Department. The provincial police also honored 13 teams and 107 individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement “For Homeland Security” in the period of 2015 – 2020.
