Lao Cai Police praised for achievements in ensuring public order and security

PSNews - Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security, on April 8 worked with the Lao Cai Provincial Police Department on the local security and social order situation.

Under the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee of Lao Cai, the provincial police have actively implemented their missions since the beginning of 2021, especially the No.13 Scheme on "Ensuring security and order in Lao Cai province in the period of 2020-2025".

They also applied professional approaches and tactics to successfully investigate criminal, economic and drug-related cases,  control the rate of crime, and maintain social order and safety. 

The Lao Cai police attached great importance to strengthening their state management of national security and social order and international cooperation on security while enhancing Party and force building.

Additionally, the Lao Cai police ensured sufficient finance, logistical supplies and technical services for their missions while practicing thrift and anti-wastefulness. The police leaders of subunits at all levels focused on investing in facilities, equipment and technologies for key forces and areas.

Addressing at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son spoke highly of the provincial police’s efforts and achievements in performing their tasks. 

Regarding their key missions in the coming time, he stated that the leaders of the Lao Cai Provincial Police Department should raise their sense of responsibility for building a comprehensively strong provincial police force as well as creating favorable conditions for officers and soldiers to accomplish their assignments.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son also asked the Leo Cai Provincial Police to enhance the application of professional tactics as well as professional and social prevention to reduce crimes in the locality.
