On February 6, 2023, leaders of the Ministry of Public Security attended the 2023 enlistment event in different provinces and cities.

* In Hanoi city:

Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To attended the ceremony to event in Hai Ba Trung district.

Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To and other delegates attend the flag-saluting ceremony before the handover of enlistees started.

In 2023, Hai Ba Trung district was assigned by the Hanoi Municipal People's Committee to select 82 male citizens and 25 citizens to enlist in four military units and in the People's Public Security Forces respectively for 24 months.

*In Ha Nam province:

Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung attended an open-air meeting, in which the local authorities handed over qualified local enlistees to the army and police in 2023, at the Center for Cinema and Culture of Thua Thien-Hue province.

This time, some 200 enlistees have been selected to do national service at the Thua Thien-Hue Provincial Police Department and units under the Ministry of Public Security stationed in the locality.
