 Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, on behalf of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, visited the Kuwait Embassy in Hanoi and paid respect to the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Sabah, has just passed away, on December 22.

Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung expresses his condolences in funeral guest book.

* At the funeral held in the Kuwait Embassy, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung offered condolences to Kuwait Ambassador to Vietnam Yousef Ashour Al-sabbagh and Embassy staff as well as the Kuwait people for their big loss.

On behalf of all leaders of Minister of Public Security and the Public Security Forces as a whole, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung sent his deep condolences to the State, Royal Family and people of Kuwait, saying that His Majesty Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah had made a significant contribution to diplomacy, peace and security in the region in general and Kuwait's modern foreign policy in particular as well as to promoting friendly relations and cooperation between Vietnam and Kuwait, over the past 50 years.

Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung also congratulated the State of Kuwait on having a new leader, Emir Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and expressed his belief that, under the leadership of Emir Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Government and people of Kuwait will soon overcome that difficult time and continue to maintain stability and develop the country, contributing to prosperity in the region and the world.

Ambassador Yousef Ashour Al-sabbagh sincerely thanked the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Public Security Forces for their good feelings and friendly gesture, and said, in his working position, he will continue to make his part to cultivating and promoting the relationship between Vietnam and Kuwait in general, and between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and relevant agencies of Kuwait in particular.
