Dear Comrades!
On the occasion of New Year 2017, the year of Rooster, on behalf of the Central Party Committee and Ministry of Public Security, I sincerely extend the warmest regards and best wishes to all leaders, officers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers, students, retired police officers, invalids, relatives of martyrs of Public Security force; communal police, security men.
In 2016, besides fundamental advantages, the world and the region saw complex changes, which posed difficulties and challenges for the mission of ensuring national security, social order and safety.
However, under the leadership of the Central Committee of Party, the National Assembly, the Government, with the solidarity of the political system and the support from the people, and the faith and political determination of all Public Security staff, the People’s Security Forces have made a special effort to overcome obstacles, took various synchronous solutions on time to prevent crimes and ensure social order and safety.
Particularly, the forces contributed to guaranteeing absolute safety for the 12th National Party Congress, election of the 14th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all level in the term 2016-2021, while maintaing political stability, creating a secure, safe environment for the people and national socio-economic development and foreign affair.
2017 is the second year implementing the 12th National Party Congress’s Resolution and socio-economic development plan for the period 2016-2020. the missions of the People’s Public Security Forces are very heavy, requiring the public security forces to continuously promote their glorious and heroic traditions; strengthen innovation, disciplines and responsibility; closely coordinate with the Army and the whole political system; set an example in implementing Resolution No.4 of the 12th Party Central Committee on Party building;
prevent degradation in political thought, morality and lifestyle, indicators of “self-evolution” and “self-transformation’’, continue to learn follow Ho Chi Minh’s thought, moral, lifestyle, obtain new achievements, successfully fulfill the forces’ main tasks of maintaining national security, social order and safety, so as to better the national building and defense cause, deserving the trust of the Party, State and people.
