Minister Luong Tam Quang hosts children of Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs’ officials

Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang hosted a meeting with a delegation of children of officials of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs visiting Vietnam, on the afternoon of November 1st, in Hanoi.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Vietnam Gennady Stepanovich Bezdetko also attended the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister Luong Tam Quang warmly welcomed the Russian children to Vietnam.

Minister Luong Tam Quang highlighted that, over the past time, the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia have maintained regular exchanges of delegations of children of the two ministries’ officials, underlining that the exchange is of great humanity as it demonstrates the care of the leaders of the two ministries for officers of the two sides.

It also encourages officers of the two ministries to overcome difficulties and hardships in their work and be ready to lay down their lives for the country.

Minister Luong Tam Quang said, when he heard about the visit of delegation of children of officials of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs to Vietnam, he directed relevant under-ministerial police agencies and local police units to take good care of the delegation, helping them have good experience during their trip to Vietnam.

The Minister hoped that all the children will have interesting and memorable experiences in Vietnam, learn more about the country and people of Vietnam, and treasure the good traditional friendship between the two countries.

Speaking at the meeting, Russian Ambassador Gennady Stepanovich Bezdetko sincerely thanked Minister Luong Tam Quang and MPS for their good sentiments and care for the Russian delegation, saying that delegation exchange activities between MPS and the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs reflect the friendly and cooperative relationship between the two ministries in particular and the two countries in general.

The Russian Ambassador wished that in the coming time, the two sides continue to maintain regular exchanges of delegations of children of the two ministries’ officers, contributing to strengthening the traditional friendship between the two countries as well as expanding bilateral cooperation in other fields of mutual concern.

At the end of the meeting, the Vietnamese Minister hope that all the Russian children will have a good time during their stay in Vietnam, and  required them to bring into full play the good traditions of their families and country.
