Minister Luong Tam Quang presents gifts to people with meritorious services in Phu Tho province

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 – 2025), a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security led by Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang visited and presented gifts to wounded and sick veterans and other individuals with meritorious services at the Phu Tho Provincial Nursing Center for People with Meritorious Services, on the morning of July 21, 2025.

Currently, the center directly cares for 28 war wounded soldiers and sick soldiers with a disability or a labor capacity loss of 81% and above. Of them, 22 are A-grade wounded soldiers, 2 are of the B-grade and 4 are sick soldiers.

Annually, the center also provides health services in rotation for over 1,000 individuals with meritorious services to the revolutionary cause in Phu Tho province.

Speaking at the program, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security’s leadership, Minister Luong Tam Quang expressed his best regards to the wounded and sick soldiers receiving treatment at the center, as well as to the center’s leadership and staff.

The Minister also expressed his deep gratitude and profound admiration to the wounded and sick war veterans, who had bravely fought and sacrificed their youthhood and shed blood for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

Despite enduring the lingering wounds, the war veterans continue to uphold their resilient spirit, show their optimism and unwavering faith, setting shining examples for future generations to follow, he highlighted.

To better care for individuals with meritorious services in the time ahead, the Minister urged Party committees, local authorities and mass organizations to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Party’s and State’s policies on social welfare and support for revolutionary veterans and their families, according to local and national development realities.

The Minister hoped that the war invalids and sick soldiers would continue to embody the spirit of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers", living joyfully and healthily as role models for younger generations.

Minister Luong Tam Quang wished each of them to stand as a vivid symbol of Vietnamese resilience and patriotism, serving as living monuments to the unyielding revolutionary spirit and a source of lasting revolutionary inspiration for future generations.
