On the morning of April 23, General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Politburo and Minister of Public Security, received the Mongolian Ambassador to Vietnam, Jigjee Sereejav.

During the reception, Minister Luong Tam Quang highly commended the Ambassador’s proactive contributions throughout his tenure in Vietnam. These efforts have significantly strengthened and advanced the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Mongolia, a relationship spanning over 70 years.

Minister Luong Tam Quang emphasized that cooperation between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and Mongolian law enforcement agencies has been steadily maintained and expanded. This partnership has yielded practical results across various fields of mutual interest, grounded in the framework of the Strategic Partnership between the two nations.

The Minister expressed his confidence that, in his future roles, the Ambassador will continue to foster the bilateral relationship in general, and specifically enhance the substantive and effective cooperation between the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and its Mongolian counterparts.

Expressing his gratitude to Minister Luong Tam Quang for the warm welcome, Ambassador Jigjee Sereejav affirmed his commitment to remaining an active bridge to further promote friendship and cooperation between the two countries in the coming years.
