Minister Luong Tam Quang works with Lao Cai Provincial Police Department

Within the framework of his working trip to Lao Cai province, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Public Security Party Central Committee and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang had a working session with the Lao Cai Provincial Police Department, on November 10th, 2024.

According to a general report delivered at the meeting, over the past time, the Lao Cai Provincial Police Department has made much effort and been innovative in their work, which resulted in numerous outstanding achievements.

Specifically, the police department took preventive measures to protect national security early, from afar and starting from the grassroots.

In addition, the Lao Cai police also effectively prevented and combated all types of crime, while the work of state management of security and order and the work of natural disaster relief also witnessed significant results.

Addressing the meeting, on behalf of the Public Security Party Central Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Minister Luong Tam Quang acknowledged and praised the local police for their excellent achievements over the past time.

The Minister underlined that the Lao Cai Provincial Police Department had fulfilled not only assigned tasks and functions of the local-level police unit, but also other important tasks in support of the local socio-economic development.

Minister Luong Tam Quang requested that, in the coming time, the Lao Cai police should heighten their sense of responsibility and strive to excellently accomplish their core missions of protecting national security and ensuring social order and safety, while advising the local authorities on measures to address challenges and obstacles to local socio-economic development.

Earlier, Minister Luong Tam Quang and delegates offered incense and flowers at the Memorial House of President Ho Chi Minh.
