On the occasion of the New Year and the Lunar New Year of Snake, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, I extend the warmest regards and best wishes to all leaders, officers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers, cadets, public security workers, retired public security officers, wounded public security officers, families of fallen public security officers as well as civil guard and security guard forces nationwide.
Thanks to the sound leadership of the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly, the Government, the effective support of the whole political system and the people, the Public Security Forces in collaboration with ministries, branches, functional agencies have successfully accomplished all assigned tasks.
During the year of 2024, the Public Security Forces always proactively grasped the situation, prevented plots and sabotage activities by hostile and reactionary forces, curbed the increase in crime, ensured social order and safety, contributing to firmly protecting territorial sovereignty and national interests, maintaining political and social stability, peace and security effectively in support of the country's economic, cultural, social development and foreign affairs.
Furthermore, the Public Security Forces took the lead in national digital transformation, prevention and combat of corruption, and implementing social welfare programs in line with the “all people protecting national security” movement.
The year of 2025 marks various important political events of the country, including Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress with the determination to guide the country into a new era of prosperity and wealth as stated by General Secretary To Lam and agreed at the 10th Central Conference, Session XIII.
Under the Party’s leadership and the State’s management, with new spirit and determination, the entire Public Security Forces will continue to take the lead in implementing the Party’s policies, especially in streamlining of the forces’ organizational structure, making breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation. The entire forces would take all measures to ensure national security, social order and safety, protect important political events of the country, facilitating the country’s socio-economic development, making contribution to achieving the target of double-digit economic growth as well as other strategic goals of the Party. The Public Security will continue to follow the example of President Ho Chi Minh and his 6 teachings.
