The Minister of National Defense and the Minister of Public Security co-chaired a rehearsal of the Armed forces parade for the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), on the morning of April 4, 2024, at the National Military Training Center 4, Dong Tam commune, My Duc district, Hanoi city.

The Dien Bien Phu Victory has great historical significance as it was considered a victory of patriotism, indomitable will, resilience, and the strength of the great national unity bloc under the sound leadership of the Party and great President Ho Chi Minh.

To celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the historic, heroic Dien Bien Phu Victory, the Party and State has decided to organize a grand event to continue promoting revolutionary heroism and empowering the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland.

Leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of National Defense present gifts to representatives of the forces participating in the training.

The celebration will be held in the city of Dien Bien Phu, Dien Bien province with many commemorative activities, especially an armed forces parade with the participation of 54 armed forces contingents, including 11 contingents of the People's Public Security Forces.

Over the past monthes, the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security have cooperated closely in training the forces particpating in the parade.

At the event, leaders of the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security inspected phases of the ceremonial etiquette and awarding ceremony, and the parade of the participating contingents, particularly military and public security ones.
