Minister To Lam hosts outgoing Cuban Ambassador

General To Lam, Minister of Public Security (MPS), on November 25th, received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cuba to Vietnam Lianys Torres, as she bid farewell to the MPS before completing her term of office in Vietnam.

The meeting also saw the presence of Mr. Pedro Soca Pascual, Representative of the Ministry of Interior (MI) of the Republic of Cuba in Vietnam.

At the meeting, Minister To Lam congratulated Ms. Lianys Torres Rivera on her excellent completion of her working term in Vietnam. He also stated that the traditional relationship and cooperation between the two countries in general, between the Vietnamese MPS and the Cuban MI in particular is increasingly expanded and strengthened.

Over the past time, the traditional relationship, mutual support and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Cuba have continuously developed in the fields of politics and society, economy, culture and security, Minister To Lam added.

Ambassador Lianys Torres Rivera sincerely thanked the Vietnamese MPS and Minister To Lam personally for the favor with Cuba, wishing that the Cuban-Vietnam traditional relationship would be more developed and the bilateral cooperation would achieve more important and practical results in all fields.
