Minister To Lam leads a mission to inspect internal security work at Ministry of Transport

PSNews - Inspection Team No. 01 of the Central Subcommittee for Internal Politics Protection, led by Politburo member, Deputy Head of the committee and Minister of Public Security General To Lam, inspected the protection of internal politics at the Party Personnel Committee of the Ministry of Transport, on the afternoon of August 9, in Hanoi.

At the meeting, Director of the Internal Political Security Department of the Ministry of Public Security Major General Vu Hong Van, a member of the inspection delegation, announced the decision to establish Inspection Team No. 01 of the Central Committee for Internal Politics Protection.

Accordingly, General To Lam heads the inspection team while member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang is the deputy head.

The inspection team has planned to work with agencies of the Ministry of Transport from August 9 to August 11, 2023.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister To Lam emphasized the particular importance of internal politics protection to the process of building and developing the Party. 

He stated that the inspection of internal politics protection at the Party Personnel Committee of the Ministry of Transport is a regular Party activity, aiming to assess its achieved results as well as to point out its limitations and shortcomings in carrying out internal politics protection, and suggested solutions to the issues.

On behalf of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Mr. Nguyen Van Thang agreed on the agenda and working method proposed by the inspection team, and emphasized, the inspection of internal politics protection at the Party Personnel Committee of the Ministry of Transport and Communications is needed, contributing to improving the leadership capacity and combat strength of its affiliated Party organizations in the coming time.
