Minister To Lam meets trainees of defense-security refresher course

Politburo member and Minister of Public Security General To Lam hosted a meeting with senior officials who are attending the 92nd refresher course on defense-security knowledge for level-1 cadres on the afternoon of October 4 in Hanoi.

Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, Minister To Lam extended regards to the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the National Defense Academy, as well as trainees of the course.

Minister To Lam briefed participants on results of the Public Security Forces’ task performance, highlighting that the Public Security Forces had not only advantages but also challenges difficulties in ensuring national security and public order over the past time.

The Minister underlined that the Public Security Forces had achieved comprehensive results in safeguarding national security and maintaining social order thanks to the sound leadership of the Party, State and Government, the close coordination of ministries, branches and localities and the great support of the people.

Minister To Lam expressed his thanks to the trainees – leaders of localities and units, for their comprehensive coordination and support for the Public Security Forces in various fields.
 
He also hoped that they will further provide support for the Public Security Forces to successfully fulfill their core tasks of safeguarding national security and maintaining social order in the coming time.

On behalf of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the National Defense Academy as well as the students of the National Defense and Security Knowledge Course, Deputy Director of the National Defense Academy Lieutenant General Nguyen Anh Tuan thanked the Ministry of Public Security and Minister To Lam for the good sentiment for the Academy and the students of the training course.
