Minister To Lam meets with NA's deputies working in Public Security Forces

PSNews - General To lam, Minister of Public Security on October 21 chaired a meeting with the public security officers who are National Assembly (NA) deputies attending the 8th session of the 14th NA. 

The meeting also saw the participations of other leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and representatives of functional agencies under the Ministry of Public Security.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister To Lam emphasized that the NA and voters nationwide are especially invested in the work of ensuring public order and security.

In 2019, the People's Public Security Forces gained important achievements in their task performances, leading to a decrease in both criminal offenses and traffic accidents. 

Thereby, Minister To Lam asked the public security NA deputies to proactively report sufficient information to the NA and the voters so that they can see the important results achieved by the Public Security Forces in ensuring social order and security.

Minister To Lam also asked the public security NA deputies to raise the sense of responsibility, participate actively in and contribute to making laws related to social order and security, ensuring that the bills which are drafted and proposed by the Ministry of Public Security, will be passed by the National Assembly at the highest quality and with the highest vote.

Besides, the NA deputies in the Ministry of Public Security should focus on reflecting thoughts and legitimate interests of the whole nation's voters to the National Assembly, contributing to promoting the position and voice of the People's Public Security Forces at the NA.
