Minister To Lam pays a courtesy visit to Israeli Prime Minister

PSNews – Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Minister of Public Security and the high-ranking public security delegation paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu on November 14th. 

Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Israel Cao Tran Quoc Hai also attended the event.

Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu welcomed and highly valued the ongoing visit to Israel of Minister To Lam and the high-ranking delegation of the Public Security Ministry. 

The host held that the visit contributed to cementing and strengthening the friendly relationship between the two States and peoples as well as cooperation between the Security Council, the Public Security Ministry, the National Defence Ministry as well as relevant agencies of the two sides. 

He also spoke high of the great achievements of Vietnam in building, developing and protecting the country, and wished the Vietnamese people to reach more good outcomes.

For his part, Minister To Lam thanked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for holding the reception for the Public Security delegation, and creating good conditions for Israeli agencies to closely cooperate with the Public Security Ministry of Vietnam over the past years. 

Senior Lieutenant General To Lam delivered regards of Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other leaders of Israel. He also expressed delight at recent positive between the two sides in politics, economy, investment, education and training, security, national defence, agriculture, technology, after nearly 25 years of diplomatic relations (12-7-1993), and hoped that such relationships will be deepened in the time ahead.

At the reception, Minister To Lam agreed with contents of collaboration among relevant Israeli agencies and the Vietnam Public Security Ministry in the coming time, saying that the two sides are shaping an annual security dialogue between the Israeli Ministry of Public Security and National Security Council as well as are building a legal framework to soon sign agreements on labor cooperation, extradition and transfer of prisoners.

On the same day, Senior Lieutenant General To Lam and the high-ranking delegation of Public Security Ministry visited the Command Center and attended the opening ceremony of the 4th International HLS & CYBER Conference in Tel Aviv.
