Minister To Lam praises Hanoi Public Security’s achievements in investigating murder

PSNews - Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Minister of Public Security sent a letter of commendation to General Departments 1 and 2 and Hanoi Police for their success in investigating a case of murder, illegal storage and use of military weapons.

The Minister also signed a decision rewarding 10 relevant units under the Hanoi Police in recognition of their supports and contributions to the investigation.

The letter reads: the General Department of Police (G.D II) directed operational units and Hanoi’s Police on time to uphold the sense of responsibility, deploy various forces and comprehensive approaches to collect evidence and swiftly conduct an investigation into the case of murder, illegal storage and use of military weapons, which took place on October 27, 2016 in Trung Hoa, Cau Giay district, Hanoi. Function forces succeeded in arresting the suspect and seized crime-related tools.

The crime was considered a serious case in a cruel and spontaneous manner causing anxieties and fears among people.

The Hanoi police forces in cooperation with specialized units of the MPS managed to solve the case in a relatively short time. Their deeds contributed to restoring the local security and order and consolidating people’s trust in the Party, State and Public Security Forces.

On behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister Lam commended the great achievement of soldiers and officers of the relevant units under General Departments 1, 2 and Hanoi Police.

He also asked General Departments 1, 2 to direct and guide Hanoi’s police forces to conduct an extensive investigation into the case and soon bring the case into light to deter criminals as well as prevent crimes in the future.
