Minister To Lam receives Ambassadors of Mozambique and Russia Federation

PSNews – Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Minister of Public Security on February 6 received Mr. Gamiliel Munguambe, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Mozambique to Vietnam and Mr. Konstantin Vnukov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Vietnam.

Minister Lam congratulated the outgoing Ambassador of Mozambique on his mission accomplishment in Vietnam while spoke highly of his contributions to promoting the fine traditional relations between Vietnam and Mozambique in general and between the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) of Vietnam and law enforcement agencies of Mozambique in particular. Minister Lam hoped that the Ambassador of Mozambique would continue his supports to the development of the bilateral relations.

Ambassador Gamilien Munguambe expressed his gratitude to the MPS of Vietnam and Minister Lam for their sentiments to Mozambique and the ambassador personally during his term in Vietnam. He also wished that the Vietnam – Mozambique relations would further develop in all areas. Mr. Gamilien Munguambe also vowed to contribute to the development of the bilateral relations between the two nations, in his new position.

At the reception of the Ambassador of the Russia Federation, Minister To Lam expressed his delight at the fine recent developments in the Vietnam – Russia relations.

The Vietnamese Minister also highlighted positive developments in the cooperation between the MPS of Vietnam and relevant agencies of Russia, contributing to the Vietnam – Russia comprehensive strategic partnership.

Minister Lam expressed his hope that the Ambassador would continue to contribute to the friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and the Russian Federation as well as cooperation between the MPS of Vietnam and relevant agencies of Russia, contributing to promoting security and prosperity of each country, and for peace, stability and development in the region and the world.

The Russian Ambassador expressed his sincere thanks to Minister Lam, affirming that the Russian Federation always attaches great importance to promoting the strategic comprehensive partnership between Vietnam and Russia in all fields, including prevention and fight against crimes. He also wished that the bilateral relations between Vietnam and Russia will further develop in the time to come.
