At the reception, Minister To Lam underlined that the visit of Mr. Moshe Edri and the high-ranking delegation of the MPS of Israel to Vietnam is significant as the two countries are preparing to observe the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations (July 12, 1993 - 2018) as well as an important step to realize the cooperation agreement between the two ministries in crime prevention and fight signed in Jerusalem in 2016.

Minister To Lam also spoke highly of the outcomes of the talk between the two ministries held earlier on the same day. He hoped that the two ministries would promote cooperation in the aspects of mutual concern; continue to exchange information and share experience in preventing and fighting crimes, particularly transnational crime; enhance cooperation on cyber security, fire prevention and fighting, rescue, personnel training, and science and technology.

Mr. Moshe Edri thanked the MPS of Vietnam and Minister To Lam for the kind reception of the visiting delegation, and affirmed that he would strive to promote the relations between the two countries in general and the two ministries in particular, for the interests of the two peoples, for peace, stability in the region and world.
