Minister of Public Security General To Lam received New Zealand Ambassador to Vietnam Tredene Dobson, who paid a farewell visit to the Ministry of Public Security before ending her term of office in Vietnam, on the afternoon of December 19, in Hanoi.

Congratulating Ambassador Tredene Dobson on her successful working term in Vietnam, Minister To Lam highly appreciated the Ambassador's positive contributions to promoting the Vietnam - New Zealand strategic partnership in general, and the cooperation between the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and New Zealand law enforcement agencies, including the New Zealand National Police Agency in particular.

Minister To Lam expressed hope that the two sides will continue to implement more effectively the Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the New Zealand National Police Agency on Countering Transnational Crime signed in 2019.
