Minister To Lam sends letter praising firefighting police of Dak Lak, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Nghe An

General To Lam, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Minister of Public Security sent a letter praising officers and soldiers of the fire prevention, fighting and rescue police forces of Dak Lak, Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Nghe An provinces for their courage and high sense of responsibility in protecting people’s lives and property from fire.

In his letter, on behalf of the Public Security Party Central Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, Minister To Lam praised the officers and soldiers of the Police Divisions for Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue of Dak Lak Ba Ria - Vung Tau and  Nghe An for their bravery in fighting fire incidents at Tay Nguyen Agro-forestry Processing Joint Stock Company (located in Hoa Phu Industrial Park, Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province) and the warehouse of Thanh Tri Joint Stock Company (located in Phu My I Industrial Park, Phu My town, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) on April 9 as well as the fire case at No. 16A in Hai Thuong Lan Ong street (Ha Huy Tap ward, Vinh city, Nghe An province) on April 10. 

The great efforts of the fire police forces helped reduce human and material losses due to fire incidents.  

During the firefight, several fire police officers and soldiers of Ba Ria - Vung Tau were injured. Meanwhile, firefighters in Nghe An bravely broke the rolling doors to rescue four people trapped in the house.

The Minister asked the provincial police departments to strengthening inspection and dissemination on fire safety regulations. He asked the fire police forces to improve their fire prevention, fighting and rescue work, contributing to ensuring political security, maintaining social order and safety for peace and happiness of the people.
