Minister To Lam visits border district of Van Ho

General To Lam, Politburo Member and Minister of Public Security, leading a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), visited and worked with the local authorities, medical center and people of Van Ho district, Son La province, on June 10, on the 10th founding anniversary of the district.

The MPS delegation also included Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security, Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Son La Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Son La province, Mr. Hoang Quoc Khanh, Vice Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee among others.

At the working session with Standing Board of the Party Committee of Van Ho district, Minister To Lam applauded the outstanding results achieved by the authorities and people of the district in the past 10 years and hoped that they will further strengthen the great unity bloc, make all efforts to overcome difficulties and successfully complete all assigned tasks.

He also asked the local authorities to efficiently manage and rationally use resources for medical work, constantly improve professional qualifications for the local medical workers, proficiently use new techniques to provide better medical services for the people in the time to come.

On this occasion, Minister To Lam presented an ambulance to the district’s medical center and 20 gifts to needy households in Van Ho.
