PSNews - During his working trip to Dak Nong province, Minister of Public Security General To Lam visited and had a meeting with key cadres of the Dak Nong Provincial Police Department, on September 20.

Director of the Provincial Police Department Senior Colonel Bui Quang Thanh briefed Minister To Lam and his entourage on the security situation in Dak Nong and results of the task performance of the provincial police force in the first 9 months of 2022.

The report read, the situation of security and order in Dak Nong province was maintained stable while the Party Committee of the Dak Nong Provincial Police Department enhanced Party building and force building, contributing to building the provincial police force as a pure and strong force.

Regarding the fight against crime, the number of criminal crimes decreased by over 17% compared to the same period of 2019 (when there was no Covid-19 pandemic), the clearance rate of the criminal cases reached 96.7%, including 100% of the serious criminal cases cleared.

Meanwhile, the situation of traffic order and safety saw positive changes, and the fire prevention work in the province was seriously cared by relevant local agencies and police units.

Minister To Lam praised the local police for their outstanding achievements since the beginning of the year.

Regarding key tasks in the coming time, Minister To Lam asked the Dak Nong Provincial Police Department to always be vigilant, take synchronous professional measures to maintain security and order in all situations, and avoid being in a strategic surprise and a disadvantage.

The local police should step up administrative reforms on the principle “People be at the center of services” so that people can enjoy better public services.

They should accelerate the implementation of the project of enhancing the application of data on population, electronic identification and electronic authentication in the national digital transformation in the period of 2022 - 2025, with a vision to 2030.

On this occasion, Minister To Lam and the delegation and key cadres of the Dak Nong Provincial Police Department offered flowers and incense to President Ho Chi Minh at the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House in the Dak Nong Provincial Police Headquarters.
