Minister To Lam works with An Giang police

PSNews - General To Lam, Minister of Public Security highly appreciated achievements of the An Giang Provincial Police Department over the past time. He also asked them to coordinate closely with the Cambodian police force in the fight against crime, illegal entry and exit, and smuggling.

    During his working trip to the southern provinces, General To Lam, Minister of Public Security (MPS) and his aides worked with the An Giang Provincial Police Department on October 28.

    At the meeting with the An Giang Provincial Police Department, Minister To Lam spoke highly of the provincial police’s achievements in ensuring national security, social order and safety, saying that the local police had many innovative and practical models such as "security and safety key chain" model and "ambulance for victims of traffic accidents" model.

    He also asked the local police, stationed in a border province, to maintain good friendship and cooperation with Cambodian people and police, saying that as the police forces of the Vietnamese border province of An Giang should coordinate closely with the Cambodian police force in the fight against crime, illegal entry and exit, and smuggling.

    On this occasion, Minister To Lam offered financial support to the construction of gratitude houses for communal police officers in the border area.
