The working session also saw the presence of Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security, Lieutenant General To An Xo, Chief the MPS Office, Lieutenant General Mai Van Ha, Director of the Public Security Information and Communication Department, and representatives from various units under the ministry.

Major General Vu Xuan Vien, Director of the Municipal Police Department of Da Nang, briefed the working delegation on the local public order and security situation and achievements gained by the city’s police over the past time in ensuring political security and social order and safety in the city.

Minister To Lam recognized and appreciated the efforts of the city’s police in ensuring security and order. He spoke highly of the Da Nang police’s success in fighting crimes of all kinds, especially black credit and drug-related crimes.

He also highlighted the city’s important position in terms of national defense and security, and asked the police force to actively prevent plots and acts of sabotage by hostile forces aiming at undermining national sovereignty and security. 

The minister also asked the city’s police to effectively implement the resolutions of the Party Central Committee, the Municipal Party and People’s Committees, and strive to build a professional, elite and modern Da Nang police force, contributing to the building of professional, elite and modern Public Security Forces by 2030.
