Minister To Lam works with public security schools on human resource development

PSNews - Public Security Minister, General To Lam, on March 3 worked with leaders of the Department of Training and Education under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) and public security educational institutions on training and education work in the Public Security Forces.

The meeting also saw the presence of Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security.

According to reports delivered by representatives of the Department of Training and Education, all public security academies and schools run smoothly after one year of implementing their new organizational apparatuses. 

Working, learning, and living conditions for lecturers and students have basically been improved, faciliating the teaching, training and learning at the public security schools.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister To Lam spoke highly of the remarkable results of education and training work in the Public Security Forces over the past time, which contributed to building the forces as well as to protecting national security and public order, and developing the country.

The Minister emphasized that education and training is an important task that requires chains of command of all public agencies, units and schools to pay more attention to in the coming time so as to improve the quality of human resources for the Public Security Forces.

Minister To Lam requested all public security academies and schools to effectively implement Resolution No.22-NQ/TW issued by the Politburo on March 15, 2018, on further streamlining the apparatus of the MPS for more effectiveness and efficiency. 

He also asked the Department of Training and Education to coordinate with functional units and public security schools to seriously evaluate and identify the causes of and overcome all shortcomings and limitations in performing their tasks.
