After a day of working in an urgent and serious manner, a conference assessing results of the Public Security Forces’ implementation of tasks in the first 6 months of 2023 and the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and Resolution of the 7th National Public Security Party Congress in the first half of the term concluded, on the afternoon of June 26, 2023.
Concluding the conference, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee and Minister of Public Security General To Lam stated that delegates were very enthusiastic and responsible at the meeting giving various constructive opinions and good ideas as well as pointing out shortcomings that need addressing.
They also gave specific proposals and recommendations to successfully implement the tasks of the Public Security Forces in the last five months of the year, and reach the objectives for the year.
Minister To Lam praised public security agencies and units for their outstanding results, feats and achievements in implementing their tasks in the first 6 months of the year as well as in the first half of the 13th Party Congress term.
In order to successfully implement the set objectives, Minister To Lam suggested that all public security agencies and units should focus on fulfilling progessional tasks and strive to achieve their set plans and objectives, as well as intensify Party building and force building, seriously implement Resolution No. 12 of the Politburo, Action Program No. 05 of the Government and key projects.
Public security agencies and units should always put on the alert, thoroughly grasp the security situation, promptly advise the Party, State and Party committees at all levels to deal with emerging issues and ensure political security, social order and safety, contributing to socio-economic development.
