Ministry of Public Security holds leadership responsibilities handover ceremony

The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a meeting to transfer the responsibilities of former Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To to Deputy Ministers of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung and Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc, on the morning of March 10 in Hanoi.

At the meeting, a leader of the MPS Office presented the reports on the handover of responsibilities between Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To and Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung and between Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To and Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc.

In the presence of the delegates, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung and Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc signed the handover documents.

Speaking at the meeting, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To noted that he had been responsible for various fields of work, including Party affairs, political work, training and inspection and supervision within the Public Security Forces, which had been carried out smoothly and effectively without major difficulties or obstacles, over the past years.

Under his leadership, the relevant units had finished their assigned tasks as scheduled and with good results, he stressed.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung expressed deep appreciation for the important contributions made by Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To to the working areas of his responsibility over the past time, and commended him on his successful fulfillment of the responsibilities entrusted by the Party, the People and the Public Security Forces.

He also expressed the hope that Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, with his rich practical experience and knowledge, would continue to provide valuable advice and support for the Public Security Forces so that the forces can accomplish their duties and meet their task requirements in the new situation.
