Ministry of Public Security meets with formers leaders of the People's Police Force

General To Lam, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security on July 20 chaired a meeting with former leaders of the People’s Police Force on the occasion of the 58th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Police Force (July 20, 1962 - July 20, 2020).

Since 1962, the People’s Police Force has always served as a strong political force absolutely loyal to the Party, State and people. Under the leadership and direction of the Party, the State, and the support of the people, officers of the People’s Police Force have overcome all difficulties and hardships to build the force and obtained great achievements in the past war for national unification and current national construction and defense.

Minister To Lam extended best wishes to generations of officers and officials who have served the People's Police Force over the past 62 years.

He also reiterated that the People's Police Force has made an important contribution to the victories and the development of the Public Security Forces. A lot of police officers have sacrificed their lives for the peace of the country, the happiness of the people.

“The Party Central Committee of Public Security and the Ministry of Public Security would like to express their gratitude for the contributions of generations of police officers to the cause of protecting national security and maintainingsocial order and safety”, Minister To Lam said.
