Accordingly, subordinate units and agencies under the two ministries regularly exchanged information about security and order in the health sector, especially the order and security situation at medical centers and facilities, and violations of the laws in the fields under the state management of the Ministry of Health.

In addition, the work of protecting internal political security and state secrets in the health sector has been improved, contributing to stabilizing the internal situation of health units and agencies from central to local levels.

Furthermore, the two ministries also closely coordinated to ensure security, safety, and health care for Party and State leaders.

The Ministry of Public Security also deployed forces to protect the health sector’s conferences, seminars and other important political events, while the Ministry of Health supported the Ministry of Public Security in training public security medics.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan affirmed that under the sound leadership of the Party and State, the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Health effectively coordinated to address urgent issues, such as epidemics, wrongdoings in pharmaceutical management and hospital security.

Regarding coordination orientations for the coming time, Minister Luong Tam Quang proposed that all subordinate units and agencies of the two ministries should closely follow the coordination agreement between the two ministries to effectively implement their assigned tasks on the basis of ensuring the highest common benefits, while advising their higher-level authorities on specific approaches to deepen the coordination relationship between the two ministries in a practical and effective manner, for the cause of protecting people’s health.
