The Ministry of Public Security launched the 2024 Olympic Running Day for Health of All People for officers from agencies and units under the Ministry of Public Security and Hanoi Municipal Police Department, on the morning of March 27, 2024, at the "Public Security Forces’ Service for the People" Monument, Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi.

Deputy Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To presided over the event. Present at the opening ceremony were leaders of the participating agencies and units as well as a large number of public security officers and enlistees.

In his opening speech, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To released that the Ministry of Public Security’s 2024 Olympic Running Day drew the participation of 57 agencies and units under the Ministry of Public Security, including the Hanoi Municipal Police Department, with nearly 2,500 officers and enlistees.

According to him, the event was in response to the Campaign "All people exercise, following the example of Great Uncle Ho" and the movement "Be healthy to build and protect the Fatherland".

It also aimed to evaluate the physical training and sport movements in the People's Public Security Forces, particularly the under-ministerial agencies and units and the Hanoi Municipal Police Department.

After the opening ceremony, leaders of the participating agencies and units as well as 2,500 public security officers and soldiers ran together around Thien Quang lake, on Quang Trung, Nguyen Du, Tran Binh Trong and Tran Nhan Tong streets.
