Ministry of Public Security review logistic and technique preparations for APEC 2017

PSNews – The General Department for Logistics and Techniques under the Ministry of Public Security on October 10 held a conference to discuss and review logistics and techniques plans for activities and events within the framework of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit 2017.

At the meeting, leaders of the relevant departments of the General Department for Logistics and Technique briefed their logistical and technical plans for the APEC Summit Week, including plans to ensure security, communications, transportation and to set up an interim command center for rehearsals and security operations;

Speaking at the event, Major General Nguyen Tat Loi praised the involved units of the General Department of Logistics and Techniques for seriously and promptly following the guidance of the APEC 2017 National Committee as well as the instructions of the Ministry of Public Security.

Stressing the importance of logistic and technical issues to successes of the APEC Summit Week 2017’s events, Major General Loi asked the public security logistics and techniques sector to continue closely work with other public security forces to seriously implement the proposed plans.
