The Central Party Committee of Public Security, Ministry of Public Security organized a conference on June 26 to review the whole Public Security Forces’ performance of tasks in the first 6 months of 2019 and roll out working plans for the remaining months.

The event saw the presence of Politburo member, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, and was chaired by General To Lam, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Committee of Public Security and Minister of Public Security.

According to reports, the conference was of important meaning as it aimed to review all working aspects of the Public Security Forces since the beginning of 2019, analyze and predict future possible situational developments, and discussed important and urgent issues regarding public security and order as well as the building of the Public Security Forces.

Delegates of the conference were expected to focusing on identifying shortcomings of the Public Security Forces in performing their tasks and challenges for the forces as well as solutions to the existing problems. Furthermore, delegates would provide advice for the Central Party Committee of Public Security and Ministry of Public Security to line out various policies directing the whole forces to successfully implement the assigned tasks and complete the set objectives in 2019.
