The summary report on the real progress of disbursement of investment capital, budget sources for key projects and construction of working offices, housing and barracks for the communal-level police units read, since the beginning of 2023, the Ministry of Public Security has given executive directions to subunits to accelerate disbursement of funding sources as well as backed them in removing difficulties and handling issues in a timely manner; as a result, the situation of the disbursement of investment capital and funding has changed positively.
Under the chair of Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen, delegates discussed and assessed the situation and proposed solutions to step up the disbursement of public investment in 2023 as well as the construction of working offices, housing and barracks for the communal-level police units.
Concluding the conference, Minister To Lam asked heads of all public security units to take prime responsibility and assign specific tasks to their subordinates on disbursing public investment and building working offices, housing and barracks for the communal-level police units.
The Minister stressed that they should have new thinking, innovative ways, and drastically accelerate the disbursement right from the first months of the year, while ensuring the quality of projects and preventing negativity and waste.
The Minister suggested that all public security agencies and units consider disbursement and construction of working offices, housing and barracks for the communal-level police units as their key tasks in 2023, and strive to disburse 100% of public investment and other funding sources as well as complet the construction of 100% of the projects on working offices, housing and barracks for the communal-level police units.
