Ministry of Public Security's Office rolls out working plan for 2021

In 2020, the Office of the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with all under-ministerial public security departments and provincial police departments to collect information and evaluate situational developments regarding national security and public order so as to effectively advise the Ministry of Public Security’s leaders and the government on strategic approaches to ensure national security and social order in the country.

In addition, the Office of the Ministry of Public Security has advised the Ministry of Public Security’s leaders to concretize the policies of the Party and State on national security, and crafted specific working plans for the entire public security forces.

Serving as a coordination center between the Ministry of Public Security leadership and other under-ministerial public security agencies and provincial-level police departments, the Office of the Ministry of Public Security effectively supported leaders of the Ministry of Public Security in directing the implementation of major projects, such as the project on posting full-time police officers to all local communes, the project on building national population database, and the project on new e-ID cards.

For its excellent achievements in 2020, the Ministry of Public Security’s Office has been awarded by the Government the Emulation Flag while 30 subunits and 204 officers of the Ministry of Public Security's Office have received certificates of merit for their good working results.

He requested that the Ministry of Public Security’s Office should collect opinions and ideas raised at the meeting, overcome its shortcomings as well as improve its capacity as a think-tank and staff agency under the Ministry of Public Security to meet its task requirements in the current situation.
